This weekend we put the damp proof membrane down, the insulation (120mm polystyrene) and then a good four inch of concrete on top.
The pic of the hills is the view from the top of the granary steps. trees and bots get in the way a bit.

We had a covering of snow this weekend. Hired a compacter/whacker to sort out the five tonnes of hardcore that we've shovelled in. Ton of soft sand to go on top and stop the damp proof membrane getting holed. Caravan was all frozen up but suprisingly snug once the heating was on. Land rover passed its MoT! (eventually)
