First of all sorry if the last post downloaded images to your desktop. I don't know why that's happening. This weekend we intended shifting some stone about but it was a bit chilly so we decided to just have a on site meeting instead then came home. On the way there, as the road rose over the pass between Wharfdale and Wensleydale, there was quite a bit of snow. We came across a couple of cars that needed a push or a pull to get them unstuck, turned around and pointing back downhill as there was no way they would be able to get over the top with its 1:4 and tight hairpins. Thankfully we were fine in our car.

All these photos were taken by Melissa again on her jazzy new telephone. Melissa took the week off work and we rented a holiday cottage which made a change from the damp caravan. Got cracking with the single story roof, timbers, insulation etc etc. Collected the four roof lights which Wensley fell asleep on. The cottage we had was very cosy and made it nice to be in Hawes for the full week even though it chucked it down.
